Private Lessons – Ages 5 & up

A great opportunity for students to experience growth through personalized instruction. Students can proceed at a pace that’s challenging yet comfortable. Weekly private piano lessons range from 30 to 60 minutes each week.

Group Class – Ages 5 & up*

A new and improved version of our previous group keyboard instruction. Students have weekly private lessons with the addition of a monthly group lesson.  Monthly groups meet independently from private lessons. Group lessons consist of ensembles, rhythm training, ear training, theory, and musical games.

Students of The Studio @ A Child’s Song have participated and won awards in the TASHCO, Royal Conservatory of Music Achievement Programs, Honor Orchestras and Jazz Bands.

Alison Redman Piano TeacherAlison Redman

Alison loves teaching piano students of all ages! She has been playing piano for most of her life, and she really enjoys sharing music with children, as well as adult students. She has been teaching piano for eight years and continues to study music at the graduate level. She has a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s degree in piano from Miami University, where she taught group piano classes to both music majors and elective students. She is currently studying musicology at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music and she likes to incorporate music history and theory into her teaching. Her favorite part about teaching piano is building relationships with students and sharing her love of music. alison@achildssong.com


Kristin Orlando

Kristin has been with A Child’s Song for over 16 years. She teaches Piano, AussieROO and Kindermusik. Her background is in early-childhood development and music. Kristin was recognized by Kindermusik International for their work with special needs children.

Kristin began playing piano at the age of four and studied under Carolyn and Bernard Shaak and Sandy Taylor. She loves to see the joy and sense of accomplishment when a student masters a new skill. In addition to teaching, she also enjoys chasing after her three boys, Luca, Gian, and Ario. She would like each family to be brought closer together through exploring music. kristin@achildssong.com

Cindy began piano lessons at the age of six. She received a B.A from the University of Northern Colorado in Special Education and Music and her Masters from Colorado State University in Education. She has given private piano lessons and was a special education teacher in Adams County. She is married, has two grown daughters, one grandson, and one granddaughter. cindy@achildssong.com

Sandy Taylor

Sandy has taught private piano for over 30 years, and Kindermusik for over 16 years. Her educational background is in early childhood and music. She and her husband, Charles, were licensed foster parents and fostered over 30 infants. They are the proud parents of eight adopted children ranging in age from five to 30-years, and grandparents to six adorable grandsons. Their life purpose statement reflects our goals personally and professionally – to minister to children. Sandy is a Kindermusik Educator, AussieROO Educator, Piano Educator, and Interactive Metronome Therapist. sandy@achildssong.com
